Nostril Demon
A 2 hour quick sculpt I did in Mudbox while the baby and Mommy were sleeping.
A demon with no eyes, but lots of noses to sniff out prey.

the Innsmouth look
"Some of 'em have queer narrow heads with flat noses and bulgy, starry eyes that never seem to shut, and their skin ain't quite right. Rough and scabby, and the sides of the necks are all shriveled or creased up. Get bald, too, very young."
-H.P. Lovecraft, The Shadow over Innsmouth
Here's a work in progress of "the Innsmouth Look". My first work in Mudbox, a program similar to Zbrush, not as powerful of a program overall but much easier to use so far.

Orc bust
Centaur creecher
I got the new Zbrush 3.5 program. The best part is the new zsphere 2 features. They work to build a quick poly model much better and intuitive then the previous version. this guy was done from start to finish in Zbrush 3.5. Posed him using transpose master and practiced building his wrist bands and chest rig from extractions within Zbrush. He was another experiment. Im not sure what he is but I wanted him to have strange features and recognizable ones as well. Hard and organic surfaces intermingled in his form. Another extremely fun project.
Zbrush Sketch
This was a sketch I did in Zbrush 3.1. I did it to see how fast I could come up with a character in zbrush. This took me two hours. He has a full body which I built using zspheres but I only detailed him from the chest up and then I only really concentrated on the face.
I had quite a bit of fun with this guy, and Im starting to get a greater understanding of the Zbrush program.
