An Orc bust I did a few nights back in Zbrush 3.5. Just messing around with how far I could push a featureless cube. his teeth and gum's were made from separate geometry.
I got the new Zbrush 3.5 program. The best part is the new zsphere 2 features. They work to build a quick poly model much better and intuitive then the previous version. this guy was done from start to finish in Zbrush 3.5. Posed him using transpose master and practiced building his wrist bands and chest rig from extractions within Zbrush. He was another experiment. Im not sure what he is but I wanted him to have strange features and recognizable ones as well. Hard and organic surfaces intermingled in his form. Another extremely fun project.
This was a sketch I did in Zbrush 3.1. I did it to see how fast I could come up with a character in zbrush. This took me two hours. He has a full body which I built using zspheres but I only detailed him from the chest up and then I only really concentrated on the face. I had quite a bit of fun with this guy, and Im starting to get a greater understanding of the Zbrush program.
A bug warrior Imade using zspheres in Zbrush 3.1. I fixed a few problems in Maya at a low poly level and then took him into Zbrush to detail. This is my first use of zbrush its a very cool program. The gun mount was made in maya.
Kahi is from the sunny isle of Oahu, where his love for art was inspired by a coconut related "incident". From there, he swam to San Francisco where he studied under some of the most prestigious
artists working in the field today.
Now-a-days he spends his days sitting in a dark room surrounded by huge nerds and makes 3d objects all colorful and shiny.
At night he holds his daughter and sings her lulla-byes about forbidden and forgotten lore.
